So I decided to search local based seller on loopnet or zillow or other sites,  for an overseas buyer, a hands-off investor, I was surely impressed by turn-key investment with a unbelievable ROI.

It cannot hurt to go look at it, and get impressions. 

As of a month ago (when we saw the house) there were boxes packed, giving the impression that she was making plans to move.

I just joined biggerpockets and I'm really impressed by what I have seen thus far.

To be honest, I'm not familiar with that area, but got the general impression that north of the city was quite a bit less safe than the 19th ward.
