This is what my partner and I are focusing on at the moment.

Also my income at the moment is low.

There were a lot of difficult moments, but it was fun using it to my advantage - my contractors didn't need much pressure to stay on the timeline because they were all scared I'd have my baby on their clock.If someone takes advantage of you, it's because you're new.

At the moment my approach is to invest in a property with a buy-and-hold strategy but I am also open to other ideas to star with.

@David T.Our "parked" funds are averaging around 6.25% at the moment (down from ~7% when I was taking the time to sell a few options) using a  mixture of ETFs and a couple of stable blue chip stocks w/ 5+% dividends.

But Rich Dad definitely opened my eyes and gave me the "ah ha" moment when a light bulb seemed to come on and changed my philosophy on jobs/investment etc.jeff

I love the idea of taking a run down house in need of help and turning it into a beautiful home.
