Can i get the same deductions on repairs on the house or office supplies if i dont have an LLC?

I thought more cash I can spend on supplies to finish my project.

What I'm asking is when taking out a loan for a property to purchase can I take out extra funding to make repairs on the home as well? I want to buy a property to rent out and use some of the loan money to make repair...

@Cade Andersen  If you are going to do it yourself, make a list and go to a building supply store to price it out. 

I plumbed the gas supply line and the cold water inlet to the gas heater, routed hot water out of the gas heater into the electric heater, then installed the vent through the roof to vent the exhaust. 

Also, make sure you build in enough for janitor/maintenance/repair/cleaning/decorating/supplies/management (even if it's you now)/Misc.

There's more demand than supply.

I fronted the +3k in supplies and labor and got it back up to an inhabitable status.
