The WSJ recently ran a piece about the lack of financial literacy in this country, Three question financial literacy test This test designed by professors at MIT and Wharton ask some very basic financial literacy questions (no they aren't trick questions) and only 44% of college graduates got all three right.

Get a copy of Black's Law Dictionary, it won't make you a lawyer but at least you can understand terms and what phrases mean.Anyone in any business needs to breeze through a Business Law text book, sorry don't have a specific book for you, but any college book store will have it for Business Law 101.
