Is this the stress you want in this life?

The investor goes out to the property and rationalizes and visualizes what changes and repairs should take place and then the contractors draws up an estimate matching the request and wham the numbers don't add up and now the investor is stressed.

I really can't stress that enough! 

If you pay utilities or have high water costs (like I do in Utah, 10% of rent just for water/sewer/trash) you can stress the number.On the other hand, if you have low property taxes (about 5% in Utah) you might fall below it.  

If they tell me it's a mess and they're stressed, I will wait until they move to clean and do repairs.

And, I can't stress this enough, don't make sales pitches!  

Yes, very time consuming and sometimes stressful but I love it.

But I am stressed out after receiving a call from State Farm that we have the home insured through.  

She stated that the property has been stressing her out and that its a big headache.  

Not to mention, a little bit of indulgence may help reduce your stress and improve the quality of your life WHILE you're sacrificing.I'm not saying you should go buy a new car...but if getting your hair done or buying a new pair of jeans will prove to be a good motivator, a good reminder and a good stress reliever, you should reward yourself now and again.
