Last thursday my landlord attempted to unlawfully evict me and had another person help him remove my things from my lock room- ( i rent a room and am under contract/ lease for the room)  He never gave me an eviction notice in writing and rent was late due to my disability check being late but he never incquired about when or if i was going to be able to pay rent.

I would hate to have a fire and come to find out that she disabled the battery, and now people are asking you why didn’t you just move it.

It was an extra shame for the one, as the head of household was a veteran with a clear learning disability caring for an elderly dependent father.

My wife and I are trying to find out the best way to take over the loan or buy the house since her mom has gotten sick and is getting partial disability but cannot cover the mortgage and cost.

Try living in upstate NY where property taxes on a $100,000 house are routinely $3,000 (town, county & school).I'm headed to the assessor's office next week to try to work out an agreement for a drastically lower assessment on my primary residence that I bought in July.

The individuals get social security disability, food stamps, discounts on utilities, etc. and sometimes financial help from their family.

I was laid off from my full-time position at General Dynamics in 2013 while I was on short term disability.

The tenant is more than capable of working...but on some sort of disability or social security program.
