I will be happy to continue as an advisor to the new executives should they have questions in the transition.I hope you will join us on Thursday with a mind towards some small portion of a very large task that you might be willing to pick up to assure that this becomes a thriving organization where many hands make LIGHT work for everyone.

I own a few investments already and would love to pick up another few here and there. 

Also, back in the day, we used to call it farming an area, but pick a neighborhood and walk around and talk to neighbors about buying in the area.

This isn't my plan.... but if you were to quit your corporate job and wanted to pick a real job in the RE space while building your knowledge base and looking for deals/building your network, which job would you recommend and why(agent, appraiser, mortgage broker, construction, other?)

Hi AllRelatively new to BiggerPockets but been in and out of real estate for quite some time and still looking for answers on how best to do things right - this time.I am Chicago-based and over the past year I picked up five rehab properties for cash (four multi-units and one single family house).  

I am in the process of building a home and had listed my realtor as my agent so he could pick up the easy commission.

Also I would have cash on hand to invest, but again don't have something picked out yet.

We also get listings from 5-6 local wholesalers daily but pick and choose what we think is good once I run comps. 

I said ok thinking you know the holiday and such.1/15/16 I text him hows it going whats the status, he responds "love this floor plan will have it ready next week" I called him no answer and he did not return my call.1/22/16 I text him what time can we pick up floor plans today, he text "I'll have them ready next week" I immediately text him "oh I thought you where going to have them done last week per your text, is there something wrong?"

Then as I stated early one of them got a job in another state which a screening process won't pick up and the other's decided to buy a home which a screening process wont fix.
