If they personally don't have any larger MFR experience, then I would suggest forming an LLC with someone who does who would be willing to jump on as a low-level equity/experience partner and that shouldn't be a problem.Good luck and let me know if I could help you put something together!

@Samuel Olivas From personal experience you can't have your cake and eat it too. 

I personally found I’m good at it if it’s a simple job, normal easy walls, but hire out if its 2-story height, painting cabinetry, wood windows etc as they are a all a big pain.

I'm living overseas now so in person doesn't work, but I'm from Morden, MB.

I personally have a very strong reputation in the Detroit market as well as here on BP.

I don't like them personally.
