Is required Electrical at the outdoor and indoor installation points; (is it up to required code)?

This would include items such as smoke/co detectors, railings, windows functioning, screens, GFCI, outdoor motion lights, and repair anything that is broken.  

For example, an outdoor spot in the West Loop close to restaurants/bars can make a more than what you had projected ($150-250).

The main challenge (I believe) with sub-to is finding sellers willing to entertain it.

Add more hardscape with places to sit/entertain and some drought tolerant plants around the periphery with automated drip irrigation lines.

We have a goal of buying a STR by the end of the year if everything goals well.We have been looking at different properties such as cabins and homes in North Georgia that area close to wineries, outdoor activities, and state parks; as well as beach condos in South Carolina and Florida.However, we are struggling with whether our first STR should be close even if the numbers are not as strong.  

It seems to me that with Covid and lack of travel/shift in what people are looking for it seems (a place where all the amenities are there and not having to go out for entertainment for example) looks to be popular - a destination location.Any info/opinion etc would be great from other members of the community here.

- General costs of renovating/upgrading units at turnover - as part of value-add strategy- general outdoor maintenance requirements- odd city-specific laws/requirements which they need to adhere to?
