I had the best paying job I’d ever had as a Digital Content Director at a small TV Network and they required I relocate from Brooklyn to work out of their Glendale offices. 

No one in this forum is going to be answer conclusively either so your best bet is to speak with  a local zoning lawyer and also to the zoning officer in town in detail.

Another option you could explore would be reaching out to the successful teams/agents in your area and see if they might be in need of an office assistant or inside sales agent with the ability to move in to being an agent.

If you're able too, sit down with a loan officer and agent to run through different scenarios.

I hung my license at a smaller office and I believe most of the agents are part-time. 

If that interests you, ask the officers of the REIA if they know any members who would take you on.

True office style suspended drop ceilings are tacky and dated, but if you could research a noise isolation product or way to mount ceiling drywall, it may help greatly.
