I lived in one house with a spring box (it was in the basement) but when I  think about it now it probably wasn't as it should have been. 

I think you can pull it off but it is going to require some out of the box methods.

Before I even get in the car and run around town opening lock boxes, I have a consultation with the client at my office.

There are over 40 Different ancillary income streams in the Self-Storage Industry - Truck Rental, Selling locks, boxes, and moving supplies, lighting, shelving, records storage, pack n ship, ebay.....  

So it was my position that I could take them.. also it was the day of the sale so the trustee's deed had not been recorded yet.so I send my guys down to snag what amounts to 3 to 5k worth of appliances in box's and the winning bidder showed up..

You need a real estate agent that is willing to show you 10 houses to sell you a house that you buy for $60,000 (maybe one that will give you the code to the lock box...not that I ever found that guy).   

It has fuses instead of a modern electrical box.
