I am new to real estate but I currently have a large amount of free time so I am applying it to reading, listening, and watching everything I can on real estate with the goal of applying my education and background to the field!

Hope this helps but i am the same way, when people cold call me asking if I can give them an estimate to repair a house i ask them who they are and where they know me from, The contracting side is a relationship game just the same. watch the flipping shows on TV and they have the same contractors go out to look at the house and they always say, "same flip materials" so these people have developed that relationship and know what they want and what to expect.

I purchased it in 1995 while Active Duty at Sheppard AFB.Ive always believed in wealth building by owning property, having watched my parents buy and keep properties through the years.My goal is to purchase another property locally, gain experience through rehab, and Continue the process.

Then get a call off a sign in front of a new build I'm doing(have done plenty of rehabs and additions but this is first new build) that a nice lady is looking to sell her house.  

It's not a set schedule as that makes the tenant feel like they're being "watched".
