It does not help you find deals more easily, and the training you get as a realtor is all about compliance which doesn't help with investing.

You can bank on the yearly events here that draw hundreds of thousands of visitors (WM Phoenix Open golf tournament, multiple MLB teams for Spring Training, Barrett Jackson auto show, Arabian horse shows, etc).

What makes a self-directed IRA custodian different is that they are not purely connected to the public exchanges and limited to investing in stocks, bonds and funds, but rather have the staff training and paperwork to document the IRA's investment in the more individualized transactions that occur when investing in real estate, notes and other non-traditional assets.

Especially insuring your property as a rental and knowing the rules of your insurance company about vacant property (how long can it be vacant before you need to alert them, what are the options when it's vacant, etc.)Not all areas have landlord training, but if the municipality offers it--take it.  

I work with a lot of investors and run a Real Estate Investors group who meets every third Wednesday of the month at 6pm at my training facility here at my brokerage.  

I would not personally interact with my tenants with any form of personal, financial or life training but providing them with an onboarding package of information so they can educate themselves and learn about resources sounds like a good and noble thing to do. 

They are also trained to deal with customers and are much better at it as that is all they do all day every day.

They state they offer coaching , training on deal structuring & a direct pipeline to investors.

Has any done training & coaching with Re Mentor ?

The biggest (so far) was putting my money into a “training program” from a guru - who will remain unnamed.
