I feel like this would give me a lot of education value and let me learn the ropes at a good pace. 

Many of my clients don’t even want to look at retail properties because it’s rare to find one (in my market, at least) that is priced well for investors.

I realize I can do a macroscopic analysis of any area, but I also know certain corporate retailers do these same analytics.

In fact the city is growing at a rapid pace and striving to diversify its job growth from being known as the "oil & ag" town.  

We were approached with a well-seasoned note secured by five retail strip mall type commercial units.

Frankly, I think it might be the safest way to do it here since it's not exactly an area that naturally appreciates at a fast pace.
