What level of quality should we aim for in a large renovation for a long-term STR (Tri-Plex)?

I feel obligated to share the little bit of knowledge I have with everyone I can, who may have never thought this path to be possible.Through the “Young Slumlord Podcast” (by listening to the show or by knowing me or my cohost Caleb you will find out we are the farthest thing from Slumlords) but the name is aimed to serve as a little provocative.

@Julius Chinn Chicken yes my plan needs to be refined but I’m still aiming for this goal.

I'll go take measurements of a site and take mental notes and think I have a good gauge of a property but still find myself referring back to site pictures and written notes half a dozen times when doing as built drawings because there's a ton to remember.

I've been investing in Indy for about a year now and aim for a similar price range.

I aim to provide one of the best units in the neighborhood and am able to get a lot of interest quickly. 

Lesson learned - these days, I always measure and calculate square footage myself prior to close.But the 1250 figure has unfortunately persisted on Zillow and Trulia, and frankly, it bugs me. 

I'd aim to set a precedent to stay legit.

My original goal was 50 cash flowing properties in 6 years, but I realized recently I'm not aiming high enough.

@Jonathan EdmundCash on cash isn’t super important to me as a buy and hold investor because it only measures a single snapshot in time : generally the 1st stabilized year of ownership.
