Also, most lenders want to see stable job and income history so it may be harder to qualify for a loan until you are out of school and start working full time.

Occasionally other parts may need replacing (we are on our second inverter and it is having problems).Solar panels would cost me more than I could get in increased rents, raise my work load, require some maintenance, etc.The conservationist in me wishes I could justify putting solar onto each of our units but the economics do not warrant it.Good luck

The only problem is that I will be in a job rotation program for the next 2 years, meaning I'll be changing locations every 6 months.
