I'm familiar with the local regulations but anyone have any experience/tips for setting up their first STR? 

My partner and I are interested in the BRRRnB method, but wanted to reach out to see if there are any tips we should be aware of before diving in?

@Brian Garlingtonhe sounded like he likes the house, landlord, gardener etc, and he said i have lots of furniture etc and would like to stay, he is inclining towards finding a new roommate.but I would prefer him to leave. so how to inform him in a way he leave the place nicely.

I also appreciate the tips about payment methods and such - I will definitely be taking this approach.

Another tip is only key the deadbolt.

Caveat: if you are bringing in a huge amount of money say 50% of the raise then that might tip the scales in your favor).
