You need to make sure that business YOU own is aligned with your goals of why you own real estate.

I explained to them who I was, what I could provide them, and how much I aligned with their company values.

It feel that it is prudent to align your lease termination just prior to the start of the next fall semester.  

Align your front with the fronts of all othervehicles.

Align your front with the fronts of all other vehicles.

My goal will be to buy and sell properties for myself, not necessarily for other clients, and so my goals will probably not be in alignment with most brokerages.

I know not all wholesalers or flippers do this, but I would really like to solve others problems and I would like that to align with our benefit.

But that is a decision that they'll ultimately have to make for their self in alignment with their goals.
