That seems like a big red flag.

I have not searched for pre-approval yet as having no income will be a major red flag for loan approval and that is why I am posting here to see if anyone has recommendations. 

Less red tape. 

It seems some well-meaning folks are grabbing onto a red herring and running with it.For clarity:  I know how to fix a running toilet.  

(Y/N)Then, you can add in all the data as rows and highlight if something is good (green) or bad (red.).

Also if a contractor tries to talk you out of getting a permit and says you don’t need one, that’s also a red flag.

@Scott Mac that's great....my Burger King Whopper test is D --Definitely do not want to order from this BK--probably have many health code violationsC--maybe order if desperate but strive to get to a B or A area--in the A area, you're whopper will look like the commercialIt's funny but fast food restaurants can tell you a lot about the neighborhoods too--never thought of that but I have my red line areas that I will never order from and pretty much there the same areas I wouldn't buy in.

Unfortunately for me I don't hold security deposits (as I understand many Chicago landlords don't) because of all the red-tape with the Chicago residential-landlord-tenant-ordinance, so it may be difficult to get reimbursed.

CONTRACTS BEFORE PLATOne of the problems we are having in our area is we cannot supply our product fast enough (mostly because of government red tape).
