Now that Subject To has been popularized by incomplete training from "Mentors", a new book, freshly published for instance, I predict we shall start seeing lawsuits based on bad application of incomplete information by enthusiastic students who will say " but so and so , said . . .".Sorry, the judge won't buy that.

I like mentoring anyone interested regardless of age or capital restrictions I guess not many really take that leap of faith.

I also see that BiggerPockets is a fantastic source of information and mini mentors.

It was a mentor ship program that is 12 months long that will basically hold your hand every step in a syndication deal until close a deal with 12 months.

I would agree to also try and network with anyone in the real estate industry, investors especially as this is the best way to find an accidental mentor and learn first hand while waiting to finish school. 

His cartoonish description of teachers, commies, greenies, etc is like something out of junior high school.

I think it is important to try to find a mentor who is doing what you want to do. 

There is also a new ADU law that passed January 2020 that you can add one additional dwelling unit (ADU) per residential zoned parcel (and a junior ADU, if its your primary residence), or multiple ADUs to multifamily zoned parcels.
