As you well know, the foreclosure rates there are staggering and the city overall is an extremely poor place in terms of economics (mostly due to the highly incompetent mayor & his constituents).

I am starting to get into REO's and foreclosures.

I have been contacting mostly people in foreclosure.

They talk about conflict of interest when they serve as the trustee.Here in el paso there are thousands of attorneys but very few real estate attorneys and most of them serve as trustees to these foreclosures.

So currently i'm trying to find Bank REO properties since i think that would the best way to get a bargain with all the foreclosures there are in S.FL.

I live in Boston, and in most foreclosure "auction".. the bank representative shows up at the property and the auction process takes place.

If I happen to get the chance at foreclosure proceedings on some property, thats a bonus.

Would foreclosure wipe out any IRS issues?

My goal here is to learn how to make money from pre foreclosures ad foreclosures for now.
