I continue to get emails from Steve Mayer of Finance holding Company, but he keeps wanting me to pay a deposit + his 2% origination fee upfront...seems like a scam and wanted to see if anyone has done business with them in the past

Depending on where our life goes in the next three years will decide if we need to move or use our home as a rental property thereafter. 

Also depends on if you will ever want/need a roommate, one advantage of a 2bd is obviously if you are ever in pinch you can rent the 2nd bd, but if your pretty confident that’s not something you’ll do, I’d lean newer 1bd, not to mention that’s where the best deals are right now.

Like most would say on BP, It takes hard work, good due diligence, and a decent amount of risk tolerance to do well in this business (mileage may vary).
