Good afternoon, I recently acquired a multi unit with tenants and will be assuming landlord responsibilities. 

My goal is to acquire enough properties to cover all of my wife and I's expenses so we can be to travel more.

The goal is to acquire properties/wealth/cash flow.

Just a little background for me: I own 3 Duplex & 5 SFH (acquired for $700K in total) with my partner in just less than 2 years and generating high cash flow of $6K every month from all of my rental properties.

This is why the cash flow would be minimal on each property because they’d be mortgaged, but also why I could acquire multiple properties in a short time. 

If that is the case, there is either a problem internally, or the assets they have acquired are not performing as projected. 

This person, if they have acquired property themselves, should be ale to help you out so you appear credible and motivated to buy...which is what a seller needs to see.
