My only concern would be that my experience with closing deals requires being across the desk from them.

Well, as far as goals are concerned I have to sit down and really think about that, in terms of a monthly amount I would like to have.I am thinking I would like to find a rental to start with, as it seems doable. 

We are leaning towards not renewing the lease, but have some real concerns about property damage and disruption in the building.

(much more expensive) I have not tried the locks yet, little concerned with the security but need to read up on it more. 

As soon as it became obvious that she knew more about flipping and the accompanying rules than the loan officer, that was the time to back out or at least get a commitment from the LO to triple check guidelines and get back to her before signing the contract.

I asked if they see any black growth on the spot where the leak happened, or any odor in the room, but they said both those things are not present.They are saying they are concerned and not very happy right now, and are hiring a mold inspector on their own to see if there is mold growth that happened due to the roof leak.

Also, I am concerned about the VRLTA which was amended a couple years ago to reduce the qualifying term from 10 properties to 3.  

I'm definitely not concerned with giving them quality service since this will be my primary market, I was more concerned that the relocation company would have the final say of who they could use as an agent.

That's the concern I have with investing with anyone and would be the focus of my vetting process.Thank you as well @Leslie Pappas.

However, there are a couple concerns or things I'd like to get input on if possible:1)  The sellers own free and clear and haven't even listed yet.
