Even if Amazon does not select this city, it is poised for tremendous growth in the next two decades.I, myself would love to invest there so I am looking to chat/meet with people interested in investing in Pittsburgh before Amazon releases the winning city.  

I had a chat with a local realtor and his feedback was: if you're renting below $1100, be very conservative with your operating expenses and don't get fooled by returns that only happen on paper.I started to shift my focus to suburbs with good school districts (mainly Katy as I plan to live in the house for the first year and Katy offers me the best commute).
