My question is… after you have a general overview of REI, but still not sure how to start and where to start, what can I do on a daily basis to improve my skills set in REI?

We just employ the right people that are skilled and some of our own elbow greese, and voila!

Long term, the money, water source, and the necessary skills are readily available, so I am not worried about the short or long-term water supply of Las Vegas.

Investing as an LP is a skill, and now that you have learned how to do it, my suggestion would be to stick with it.

I am 38, I have a successful career in medical device sales management and have a relatively high income of $250k+ per year. 

You can make some great money and learn some skills too. 

No one asked me, but with that savings, you should consider medical school.
