When I got started building my real estate portfolio, I had the fortune of growing up around some the biggest names on the national real estate development stage.

I am fortunate that her salary is also around the same as mine so she is not financially dependent on me giving us some room to invest our earnings.  

Everyone agreed the bylaws placed responsibility for the damage,  in these circumstances,  to the HOA.I was very fortunate. 

Fortunately after a few years the tenant was interested in a buy out, which I agreed to. 

Fortunately we have a great family but you are absolutely right, things change when money is involved.

I have been fortunate to find agents in Indy that are also investors and know what areas to stay out of for the before mentioned reasons, and what areas are ones that would allow me to go in and do some minor rehab work or updating (finding value-add  properties) to maximize rents, thus maximizing the return on my $!

I am fortunate enough to have partnered with a very skilled partner who knows what he's doing for all that I'd normally hire a general contractor for.

Blockchain tech could disrupt that for good.It's such an honest system that there won't be a need for hand holding buyers, sellers, agents or brokers once folks actually start to understand how it works.Same here.I love doing deals in my undies but there is one problem tho.The title company charges me a fortune on the hundreds of deals we do yearly and the bank charges me wiring fee's also.All of that is gone through blockchain.Not just that but what usually takes 7-10 days to do (Pull title, coordinate closing, sign docs, etc...)Could potentially be done in a matter of days if not hours.Thanks
