You don't want to give your landlord an excuse to take action against you.Your landlord is taking his frustration out on you, which is unfortunate.  

It may have been an excuse - regardless of what it was, I now find myself much further along and I am embracing the old me that was willing to take on those risks.

But I want to stop excusing for not starting REI and use this introduction to start.

The first one took almost two week to get bac to me , the second one never call me back and when I contacted him the excuse was that his Aunt was sick but could recommend another contractor, never call me back.

First time home buyer...just trying to learn as much as I can...so excuse the ignorance!

It is very possible that the agent does not know enough to do their job properly so the excuse may be valid.

I took in to account, the bad year he just had and gave him the 10K. ( I was not thinking straight as my mother just died a few days before.....That's my excuse for now) I guess you all know what happen next...NOTHING. 

Now I have an excuse not to. 

I've always been interested (for years) but I used every excuse that would come to mind not to follow through.
