I submitted my appeal and heard back from the reviewer with additional questions regarding my expenses ("seems the expenses are higher than average for comparable properties"). 

I chose to look for jobs in the industry.

There is also something to be said about using forms that are "industry" standard.

It sounds similar to what Virtual Staging Solutions has created for the staging industry...They charge per Project to 'virtually stage' a property. 

Some realtors produce market reports but I am wondering what other resources you consult on key metrics like median/average prices, rent to own ratios, growth rate, etc.

Where can I post and ask questions related to my industry? 

This way you can track initial listing prices...sold prices...days on market... square footage...average price sold per square footage, etc...A realtor wont like me saying it...but you can do a lot of educating of yourself by tracking this data and becoming intimately familiar with what is happening.

I do not know much about this part of the industry but would love to learn more!

On average I’d say a duplex is 150 a month in water alone, and sewer is probably 80.
