I bought it almost 11 months ago.

Hi BP Community,i bought my 2 family rental property for approx 75k and zillow is now telling me it is valued around 112k. how accurate is this? 

A little background information that is relevant to my questions are my wife and I each bought homes in the spring of 2017 (myself in Spokane, WA March 2017 and her in Coeur D' Alene, ID in April 2017).

@Grant BoyntonI'd shy from building new for a couple reasons: This is an area where volume and capabilities matter with regards to a brand, ability to sell your product, ability to negotiate favorable terms for sub contractors etc. 

Our hands are tied because we just poured our capital into the two properties we just bought... should we unload one of the properties for this opportunity?

Some of the larger expenses-Interior/Exterior Paint, Storm shutters for a few of the front large windows, added additional cabinets to one unit, New refrigerator from Dent/Scratch store after old one died, Laundry units that tenant pays +$50/mo for etc.

I am completely and totally hooked on the power and life changing ability real estate investing has, and it happened by accident, sort of.I bought my 1st house like most young people with an FHA mortgage, in 2015 with my beautiful wife. 

My biggest mistake in financial life goes way back to before I bought real estate.

I bought my first investment property in June of 2018.

I used a VA Loan and bought a duplex in Oakland 2 years ago for $375K...it can be done...no work needed on the property....it is in "The Hood" but so what....i'm refinancing out of it next year.You can also try a USDVA loan and that should allow you to buy a pl;ace that needs some fixing up
