Really, they don’t have the incentive or resources to give yours the attention it needs to get the bookings.

Make sure you see the list and so they cant play favorites.All these could play to your advantage, or you could get a written variance from the association....or just do it and screen very well so you dont draw attention.

I prefer to stay somewhere in the middle of both.Make sure to also pay attention to the other fees (underwriting, equity placement, guarantor, asset management, construction management, etc).

If you aren't much of a reader the book is on audible and the audible version is even on YouTube for free.This helped me a lot.

@Rex Celle if you have time before closing you can get a home inspection to guide you in terms of the areas needing attention.

There are plenty of areas around the medical district still needing attention.  

So if you want them to pay more attention, do a regular inspection of the apartment. 

I am not interested in investing Cleveland as much as the posters original statement/assertion about hostility towards investors via city policy and then your comment, that so passionately defended these policies, got my attention.
