I am trying to find vacant land.I emailed the County Tax Collector and they offered to sell me a CD that "contains all unpaid County of San Bernardino Tax Collector bills." for $225 BUT it does not "contain any assesse information such as owner of record names, mailing addresses or legal descriptions."

Remember, we use the lowest comps - and the comps are chosen not by us but by real estate professionals that know the area, so they know when neighborhoods that are geographically less than a mile apart may not  not contain usable comps even though they are that close.
