Is it in a place that gets lot of rain and sunshine? 

My family owns a secluded private "apartment" (3 bed, 2 bath, 1900 Sq.Ft.) on a private lake, sitting on a 40 acre parcel in the middle of a forest with plenty of room to hike, fish, kayak, relax in the sun, or cozy up in the rain, or even visit the nearby public lands, the next parcel over, for deer, bear or turkey hunting.

Wow, can't compete with the posts so far...On my first investment property purchase, had torrential rain the day before closing.

Do you know what happens when a Hurricane runs close by the County and you have three days of heavy rains?

Just have to make a judgement call based off of how you perceive the macroeconomic climate, and then try to be the best individual investor you can be.

You need to adapt and change to the conditions on the course, wind, rain, hazards.

The next rain storm will help me validate the fix (keeping fingers crossed), Its going to be very challenging for me but I am planning to go to the attic this time just to make sure its not leaking any more.

The last winter I spent in Tampa, after a-sprinkle of rain, when the ground was at below freezing (I used to wear a leather-bomber jacket) caused the surface of the roads to became a 'sheet-of-ice' my vehicle was hit by another vehicle.
