You can start by connecting with a local REI realtor and joining groups on Facebook to see who folks are using and what strategies they're using in order to get into the market.Vet your boots-on-the-ground company by ensuring their standards for sub-contractors/GC's include licensed and insured tradesman - get references and proof of the type of work/finishes they provide.

Suggest checking out https://paii.wildapricot.org/Buying-or-Selling-an-Inn which is the national B&B association (disclosure I work for them and not trying to get you to join just directing to free resources, this thread actually popped up in a google feed for me) and has some information for aspiring innkeepers that might be helpful.

They also have facebook group page that i highly recommend you join as there are several really experienced people in the group (which i don't think necessarily come to the meetings either).
