I believe there are other ways than REI to see the true value of hard work and commitment and receive something back. 

I moved to Midland this past winter for work and am looking to get into real estate.

Hopefully with some hard work and careful planning I can be conservatively aggressive, as odd as that sounds.

I DO NOT however live anywhere and spend most of my time traveling to the Canadian north for work and Internationally for pleasure.

My uncle would provide the purchase price and down payment and I would perform all of the work and we would split it in half.

We've been looking for a couple of years for something to invest in, but he's not a fan of properties which need significant work and we haven't been able to make the numbers work for any properties that even remotely interested us.In January, a property showed up on Auction.com that seemed like it had potential.

I just recently relocated here for work and I am currently in contract on my 1st SFR invest here in KC!!

At least they can comment on the quality of work and point out anything that might need to be fixed or finished. 

I will be doing all of the work and can get this job done in 3 months, but planning for 6.

I travel regularly to the Philippines for work and would love to connect with any Filipino (or other) investors who are based in the Manila area and invest in US real estate.
