@James Masotti If you are going after power with numbers - how about a group health insurance since many are self-employed? 

I know it's tough because you feel like you're kicking out someone who is dealing with health issues, but you can't look at it like that.

You need to focus on families, foreign professionals, public servants or college students.That are my thoughts on that issue.

An LLC's only purpose is to limit liability and perhaps hide the owners from being recognized as the owners (public figure who doesn't want people knowing he owns the property).

The VA doesn't have a particular time frame printed in any of their directives, but if you try to use your entitlement again, before 1 year, chances are they will look at you extra hard; you would need to have a pretty good reason (new family member, significant change in health, relocation to completely new area).  

All I can do, in light of the Fair Housing Act, is point clients to some public resources to aid them in researching it themselves.Am I wrong here?

Lashaw Salta If you're willing to post in a public forum, what about your scenario is creating the trust issues with lenders?

@Austin Hughes, I would figure out how other landlords in the area are attracting their tenants--Craigslist Lubbock, or paper flyers in the hospital and university public areas, or both?
