So my priorities are:No yard needed & won't have time for the maintenance, so this probably pushes me toward townhouse/condo2-3 Bedrooms for when wife and kids do visitEither in nice shape, or re-habbable to be in nice shapeCloser to Great Northern Mall the better - I'll be in town each week only to work - and not to do anything else.

I'm not familiar with the market in the area, but I lived there many years ago,  Is there a reason you're avoiding Saratoga, Ballston Spa, Milton & the nearby towns? 

I live in a town about 10 minutes from Mankato, MN which is around 60,000 people if I remember right, and basically has everything, plus quality investments!

Just a few towns over the prices are lower and the properties cash flow.

If you know any property managers or landlords around town, that is beyond your best bet.

Hey folksI am an Indianapolis investor traveling to downtown Chicago for a real estate course and certification that I will be in town for all week.

PS We used to live in this town but have since moved away so driving by is not an option.

And yes definitely starting to network with others in town.

I'm thinking subject to could be an option when the agent gets back in town and is ready to finally move things along.
