But she's not on the lease, I seem to remember that they asked at the time of renting whether she could come with them at some distant point in the future, and I specifically said, no way, no how, never, and they still brought her in. 

Do you remember what the cost was for that general conversion? 

@Joe Delgrosso, one important point to remember is that cashflow is expensive based on how it’s taxed, much better to focus on wealth via creating equity.

I am a broker and investor and don’t remember any situation where it was said that all contingencies must be lifted before equitable interest is conveyed.

I have directv at one  of my cabins because that is all  I could get, but I had it at my house for over a 10 year span and can only remember it going  out due to weather like  twice over 10 years.Are  you sure spectrum is the provider for your cabin and its not Comcast Xfinity?
