If the purchase price is not equal to two-thirds of the appraised value, the deed shall contain a lien in favor of the defendant(s) reflecting the right of the defendant(s) to redeem during the period provided by law (KRS 426.530).  

I have also had the opportunity to assist an investor complete his rehab he recently placed on the market. 

The title search reflected a very old (2010) HOA lien on the unit in the records - the HOA has acknowledged that no payments are outstanding and were paid off in 2010 itself.
