If I'm looking for a personal home for me and my family, I don't want to live next door to an STR.......so the "value" I see in a property that is next to one is way lower...If I'm investing and purely interested in making $$, the value of that property is completely independent of me wanting to live there or not.So to me, the value is really based on who is planning to buy a property and for what use
