I'll preface that I have no experience with short sales - though theoretically possible, in practice, they do not exist here.That said, we have a clause in our agreement of purchase and sale that allows the seller to cancel w/o cause at the cost of 2.5 EMD.

I guess it's clear from his thoughts that he doesn't think Blackstone and so on are artificially inflating prices, or that the weakening middle class, or middle class debt (student loans, for example), or that our economy 70% based on consumer spending (read: a populace that can afford to buy things) are weakness to cause one to steer clear of long term holding of real estate.

It's almost as if this was all orchestrated to intentionally cause the bubble and come in the back door cleaning up the mess to repeat the process churning profits.I don't know if securitized portfolios of SFDs will fly, Warren Buffet seems to think so I believe, he has a pretty good crystal ball in manipulating or seeing the interactions between market industries.
