IMO, on average, this book is popular because somehow folks have decided that a- college education is not worth it; and- real-life experience backed by a careful, conservative approach to investing (and living life in general) is too boringi.e. follow the Rich Dad example: shortcuts, leverage, gamble and hope for the best.A college education continues to be THE best investment for social and economic mobility.

I have even seen divorce, gambling and drug addiction destroy 20 year businesses. 

If you don’t have the time and money to put into your investment, then don’t even call it an investment, call that a gamble.

The weather keeps people coming in, unlike, say, Detroit, and we have 4 hard borders, being Mexico, the Pacific, the mountains and the military base, Camp Pendleton.
