Thanks to forums like this I learned a lot and have been keeping the place rented, and in one piece for a few years now, with positive cash flow (the best kind ) :) Last year an old friend and I started Glengarry Properties (ABC - Always BE Closing), and we now have 3 rental properties, and are looking for one more this year in the Western suburbs of Chicago.

Hi Jason,Working just north of you in the New Haven area.I'm very involved with Rotary and both Trumbull and Westport have excellent Clubs (Westport actually has 2 of them).

The house is on the north side of Columbus and it needs approx $25k in rehab.

I'm also in North Conway, we're living in and rehabbing our first house now to eventually turn into a vacation rental.

East of you more likely :) From the state of PA, where we have the highest real estate transfer taxes in the union :)LOL, not north of Ohio, had transactions in the 7 surrounding MO, TX, LA and AL.

Work in RTP but live in Western Wake county.
