I recently went to the free Flipping Formula seminar....in which they tried to up sell a $2K  3 Day course...which than tries to upsell a $20- 40K program...NO thanks...so after hours of research on this and similar groups, the best advice so far is to find a local REI groupAnxious to get un biased info and see what opportunities this may lead too.So does anyone know of any local REI groups in the Agoura Hills/ SFV/ Ventura area?

It is very difficult to get unbiased RE related advice from pros and there is no better place than BP to get that advice.I had a question related to Section 8 rent increases in California.

In my unbiased opinion, the engineers make the best investors.  

As I have said twice already, that would cause the agent to go from unbiased to bias, opening up tons of liability if not in some states outside the scope of their license/certificate.  

I thought about that but I didn't think that the sellers agent would give me unbiased comps and most likely would be more interested in helping the seller vs the buyer. 

A process that truly allows someone to spend zero time and cost zero capital but still brings in deals is just not realistic.She came here looking for an unbiased opinion, I looked at what she presented and gave her one.

When you find something that you feel is a deal, this site is a great place to get an unbiased opinion. 

Would be happy to offer any unbiased advice i can on my limited knowledge so far of the market. 

Otherwise, they will screw you for their own compensation.Inspector: You want an unbiased and competent professional that will properly do their job and document it.
