It is just not possible (although it does keep our expert witness/consulting business thriving). 

And there are other people, who thrive on competition.

A lot of people have spent far too much effort trying to define just "what" is a co-working atmosphere and "where" such a space would thrive.

Conversely, when vacancies occur in the residential apartments above, the store at the street level is thriving and revenues can offset a loss in rental revenues.

Your wholesale business will thrive or die based on your ability to generate leads.

The fact people used to live in an area doesn't necessarily mean that area will once again thrive.  

@David Neely You should move to the dmv area , plenty of jobs and a thriving economy especially for those coming out of the military!

The manager I have now makes a ton of money, but he's "on" pretty much 24/7, has a lot of folks working for him, and thrives on that workload (very much the authoritarian/workaholic type).

My fantasy deals for residual income purposes would be:a five star hotel having 120+ rooms with all of the lovely amenities, on-site restaurant... doesn't matter which U.S. housing market so long as its a thriving one.Condominium building with 20-30 units in Philadelphia, PaAn extravagant resort in the Carribeans, maybe my own island.

Be prepared to compete with those guys or try your best to become one of them if you want to survive and thrive in this business.
