Another thing is the contractor doing the work should have a tool to look at the wall and identify possible areas where there is a temperature differential where the insulation may have a void so they can go back and re-fill it if needed.

It would be unlikely that you could get an attic space hot enough from lack of ventilation to melt outdoor siding, because that would be a ridiculous inner surface temperature that might ignite anything combustible in the attic.

Because, when I show the unit to prospective tenants, I want it to be a comfortable temperature (a/c or heat on), rooms lighted, and that everything is functioning.
