On top of this, we can see this case failing due to the CC&R's as well as the rules being super specific with no wiggle room whatsoever.  

There are still people looking for properties now, but at a much reduced demand than under normal conditions, considering it’s spring.However, I do not recommend going the Section 8 route whatsoever, from a short or long term perspective.

Generally a deposit is always refundable, otherwise the term makes no sense whatsoever (it would then be a fee), at least when you are talking in the context of real estate.

So many landlords applied for EIDL (loan directly with SBA, not through banks)....nothing for me...nada, no acknowledgment, no communications whatsoever from SBA....Anybody here received communications from the EIDL Loan Applications?

I have one house like that with no problems whatsoever, and the heater has been out there for 30+ years (I just replaced it because the elements burned out and it's 30 years old). 

In the place you call the "armpit" i.e the Bay Area, I have a townhouse occupied by an engineer paying over 3500$/month whose rent I have no doubt whatsoever will hit my account on the 29th as it always does.
