The two properties I own were acquired by using the house hacking technique from bigger pockets.

For the last 6 months, I've had short runs with different marketing techniques and have not found the right fit yet.

Their requirements are a little bit more relaxed than banks, and they don't require things like pay stubs, DTI, etc.

I have no problem with disclosing the fact that I'm an agent, and if these marketing techniques got me in front of a seller I would disclose my licensee status immediately. 

I understand that depending on the situation the VA loan may/may not be ideal, but I think borrowing against the TSP the payback rules are relaxed when it's for a primary residence (between 5 and 15 years for payback).

This leads me to BiggerPockets and learning about low and no money down and the BRRRR technique.
