The more I study both the more I see similarities between the 2 which help reinforce my decisions. 

It essentially reinforces your asset protection from the LLC.Estate Planning:  Because the Land Trust is considered an estate planning tool, it makes the day you set up your estate plan much more bearable!

If we choose to act on our worst inclinations we will only reinforce those beliefs, while if we choose to act based on fact, reason, and goodwill we will often find we've changed our own minds. 

I am partial toward Texas LLCs since they have strong laws reinforcing the LLC and no annual fees - and you can tie in that handy Land Trust to also remove your name from public records.

Jumping in to add positive reinforcement.

One point I forgot to mention, going forward make the relationship you and the tenants and reinforce that with the tenants.

We found weak studs, so reinforcement was needed, so off with all the plaster, and new sheetrock.

This is another point that reinforces my belief that term leases solely benefit the tenant and not the landlord.
