Since you are too, consider what Paul wrote to the young pastor Timothy in 1 TIM 5:18:  For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.”It sounds like you're up against someone who believes that capitalism and profit are evil things. 

Stop getting involved in your tenants' personal lives and teen-angst, stop asking about failed suicide attempts past or present -- they're not your friends, this is none of your business.

I once heard a pastor preach about the fact that the scarecrow is placed where the harvest is located, and only the old or more experienced crows know that they are to look for the scarecrow and head TOWARDS it and not away from it to get their dinner.A lot of very successful people use their fear as a fuel (the same way they use a refusal, a rejection or a failure like a vitamin).

At one point in time (before Enron) a CPA was the second most trusted profession in this country, right behind priests, pastors and other religious leaders.  

If you're part of a local REIA or know other investors, see who they've used in the past or who they would recommend.

As a pastor we have quite a few churches in our conference that are out there and so I hear updates all from what is going on.
